Position: Data Warehouse Lead/Architect Location: Newark, NJ Duration:6 Months Rate: Open Description: Must have heath care and MDM experience Overview: The responsibilities of the Data Warehouse Architect will include: . Designing top-level architecture of a Data Warehouse in support of business intelligence projects . Serving as the visionary for the Logical and Physical Data Models for all Data Warehouse applications . Integrating data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouse . Documenting, maintaining, and enforcing data standards for the Data Warehouse, including security, archive, backup, and recovery . Managing architectural decisions for data transitions from source to staging to Reporting . Serving as a subject-matter expert for Data Architecture . Pin point system or process problems and initiate problem solving . Provide Project Management services. . Plan and participating in cross-training with staff Requirements: . Minimum of 8 years background in IT (Information Technology) . Minimum of 5 years of Data Warehouse experience, including working as the lead analyst in the design of an enterprise Data Warehouse using fact tables and a star schema dimensional model, deploying business intelligence front-end tools to provide non-technical users with access to information from underlying Data Warehouse structures, and using extraction, transformation, and loading tools with the development of strategies for the loading of data into the production enterprise Data Warehouse . Experience in the Healthcare Industry . Experience with MDM ( master data management) products and strategies . Superior dimensional modeling skills at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels and experience documenting data models .
