· Specific quality assurance and software testing experience
· 5 years experience in Software Testing and procedures related to
QA and Software Testing
· Test Cases, Traceability, Defect Management, Test Planning
· Skilled with industry best practices e.g. CMM (Capability Maturity
Model), ISO (International Standards Organization) 9000, IEEE, QAI
*Technical Skills:*
· Health Care Insurance experience
· Business Analysis Experience
· HBCBS Business knowledge – NASCO Claims, Membership, Billing etc.
· In depth Model Office Knowledge and experience
· Familiar with HBCBS Business Rules
· Quality assurance and software testing experience
· Experience with at least one software testing methodology
· Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles & role of UAT in
software testing
· Skilled in creating test data and files based on requirements.
· Experience in Automated Test Data and Test Claims generation a
plus
· Skilled in creating test CLAIMS in NASCO based on requirements
· Skilled in testing processes and methodology
· Proficient at Detailed Test Design
· Skilled in Change Management
· Skilled in environmental definition & planning
· Knowledge of client/server, mainframe, and web environments and
testing concepts specific to each
· Skilled in Configuration Management
· BA/BS in computer science is highly recommended
· QA Certification and/or test tool certification a plus
Key Job Responsibilities
Work with UAT Test Analysts to:
· Develop UAT Test data requirements
· Gain understanding of data requirements by attending meetings
alone or with the Senior Test Analyst a and PBA based on size and
complexity of project/release
· Work with HBCBS organizations to plan and schedule data creation
for UAT in Model Office
· Review BRD’s (and sometimes TRD’s) for data requirements
· Review requirements with Test Analysts to insure Data completeness
· Review all test cases and scripts with Test Analysts to insure
accurate data is prepared
· Review all test traceability to requirements
· Participate in Test Execution
· Work with UAT Testers to manage and refresh test data
· Provide guidance and support to UAT Testers
· Responsible for collecting, tracking, analyzing and trending data;
may conduct data mining
· Create Test Data (CLAIMS) and ensure accurate loading of data into
the Model Office environment
