*Web Developer with HTML5 & Javascript* *Location: Denver, CO*
*Duration: 1 year ++* Client is seeking a highly experienced software engineer to develop next generation multimedia applications using HTML5, Javascript and webRTC accessing a network service delivery framework (SDF) and IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). *Responsibilities:* This person will be part of a highly focused team of software innovators who develop network applications and services using telecom technologies such as SIP, IMS, VoIP, etc. Network capabilities such as real-time call control, call feature interaction and multimedia messaging are made accessible through web portals, web services, message buses, etc. - The candidate will collaborate in an Agile team of developers and testers to create and harness capabilities in the network and generate new or more efficient ways for customers to interact with these services through software. - This person will design and develop new applications for the user experience utilizing the backend services which are in a highly distributed services oriented architecture (SOA). The person will interface frequently with product owners, architects and analysts to deliver solutions for the optimum customer experience. - A strong understanding of customer experience and UX design is important. The individual must be very self-starter, self-motivated with broad development experience and a proven track record of results. - A passion for creativity and innovation is critical. *Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, preferably with a Masters. 5-7 years of experience designing and developing web based client applications with web services API’s and must be proficient in HTML5 and Javascript, with a sense for UX design. Experience must include server side development, e.g. JSP or servlets using Tomcat or Jetty. *Desired Qualifications:* Experience with several of the following: Weblogic/OCCAS, Tibco Bus, iBatis, Spring framework, Eclipse, Jakarta Apache commons, REST/SOAP Web services, Corba, Ajax, Oracle, Android, webRTC, HTML5. Experience working in a product R&D environment evolving complex architectures and innovative services, ideally using Agile/Lean.
