*Title: Business Analyst*

*Duration 6 months contract***

*Location : Rancho Cordova, CA*

*Job Description:*

·         2+ years’ experience in service level management/administration
and business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business
requirements to information systems.

·         This position is largely responsible for the successful
establishment of service level (SLA) and Operating Level (OLA) agreements
and the continued assurance and conformance of such agreements to required
standards, policies and regulations.

·         The individual that fills this position must have prior
experience in the planning and conducting of service-level-agreement
analysis and proven experience in providing guidance and support to
customers in the area of service level management.

·         Additional expectations include: ensuring critical Tier 1
business processes are receiving appropriate attention and response;
conducting meetings with representatives of the business to discuss the
current disposition of SLAs; and monitoring and producing SLA trending
reports.

·         Familiarity with standard hardware platforms including
Windows/UNIX/LINUX/AIX systems.

·         May lead internal cross-functional teams to address SLA business
or systems issues.



*Minimum Requirements *

·         2+ years’ experience in service level management/administration
and business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business
requirements to information systems.



*Additional Knowledge & Skills *

·         Develop and maintain service level agreement (SLA) documents

·         Perform ad hoc and iterative technical reviews

·         Reference external documentation provided by the Service owner,
systems Management Groups, and Operational Support Groups

·         Interface with the SLA requesters

·         Complete planning tasks to establish service level components,
including drafts of SLAs, system monitors, and/or operating level
agreements (OLAs) and/or Back-up Information. Verify accuracy of Service
Level documents.

·         Document service level components per customer request and update
the definitive sources of record as needed.

·         Submit updates to the Enterprise Systems Management and
Enterprise Data Protection Teams to revise monitoring and back-ups.

·         Conduct annual audits to verify accuracy of Service Level
documents and update as needed, including SLAs, monitors, and/or OLAs
and/or Back-up Information.



 *Education and certifications *

·         4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent
experience

·         ITIL_v3 Foundation Training preferred
