*Position**: PHP Developer with SQL* *Location: Boston MA * *Duration**: 6 months* *Job** Description* Wayfair is looking for experienced candidates for its Accounting Systems group. Wayfair’s Accounting Systems group builds and maintains all aspects of the systems that provide financial data used for accounting, financial analyses and auditing. The candidate should have prior experience as an accountant or supporting accounting operations. The candidate must be familiar with corporate financial operations and accounting principles. The candidate must be an expert with PHP and SQL. Object-oriented analysis, design and programming should be second nature. Experience developing software using an agile methodology would be beneficial. This role will be a key contributor as a full-stack, full life-cycle engineer, capable of working both independently and within in team to accomplish tasks and projects assigned. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to successfully interact with the business team. The candidate will be expected to mentor junior engineers and oversee intern projects.
