Role: Mobile device tester Location: Seattle ,WA Duration: 6+ months Interview type: Telephonic/Skype Description: *Skill1 - Mobile handset device testing * Should be able to generate Test Design - covering Boundary cases, Race conditions, Positive cases with all combinations and Negative cases. Also,identification of the cases to be executed for regression for all the possible mobile Applications. 2G/3G domain expertise. Should have an analytical skills to find critical bugs. Thoroughness of testing (Ensure ? Zero Slippage & Rejection) Exploratory testing need to be done mandatory for all the build release Should have a positive attitude to perform testing. Overall performance results and behaviors reflect contributions consistent with Wipro?s high standards for employee performance. Work is recognized for its good quality and efficiency. In depth knowledge of applications, on different platforms like and experience on various phone models is required. Should have good understanding of drivetesting * Additional Skill- Skill1 - Mobile handset device testing* Demonstrates the knowledge of Software testing - Mobile handset testing and a overview of Test strategy & Test plan, and clear competency in Test case wiriting and Test execution. Should have 2G/3G domain knowledge skills. Aware of all the mobile applications. Able to understand client mobile handset architecture for Integration & System testing Should be able to understand the test setup and requirements, along with understanding and comprehending customer requirements. Work should consistently meet expected performance and demonstrate Wipro values consistently. Knowledgeable - The acceptable minimum job competency level who can perform key tasks/responsibilities requires additional supervision and special training. *Skill2 - Mobile handset device testing* Uses the breadth & depth of technical knowledge to solve complex problems in test setups & application servers, should have application and 2G/3G protocol expertise. Is always coming up with suggestions and is able to generate a wide range of original ideas for incremental improvements.Foresee all the infrastructure required for the project. Identify the risks of the projects.Proficient in test design and analysis methodologies, along with possessing focused expertise in functional/domain area such as 2G/3G. Should guide with an alternative solution to fall back on in any situation and can detect complex technical problems quickly.
