Role: Test Lead (Banking Domain) Location: Mount Laurel, NJ Duration: 6+ months Interview type: Telephonic/Skype Description: *Top Technical Must Have Skills-* Coordinating with testers for this project which could be split into different groups, multiple phases, multiple time frames. • Must understand how to write test cases and be able to coordinate with the business if needed to help them create their Business test cases accordingly • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple work-steams. • Demonstrated ability to follow established test methodologies. • Follow multiple down streams and follow a data mapping flow. • Producing reports with QC, providing high level updates on the project progress. • Provide input to all documentation for test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts • Must be able to juggle multiple assignments and tasks • Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.) and that testing meets governance requirements • Manage QC folders for test compliance and accuracy. • Strong test lead experience * Skills and Experience- Core Banking*- • In depth knowledge of Banking & Financial Services - • Good knowledge of banking business technology landscape and geo variations • Understanding on various players in the industry and interdependencies / geo variations if any(e.g. Third Party Service Providers, Regulators etc..) • Have exposure to core banking systems (e.g. Flexcube, Financle, T24 etc ..) • Good knowledge of overall banking & financial services industry regulatory environment *Application Testing* • Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. • Develops and executes software test plans. • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. • Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. • Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. • Works on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment. • Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/ guidance. • Expected to further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise. • May guide new members in the team to help them scale up faster. *Application Testing* • Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases. • Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool. • Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
