*NOTE: We need ONLY HealthCare BA.* *Title: Healthcare Sr. Business Analyst* Location: Woodlawn, MD Duration: Long term Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required Position Overview: Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis activities of Health IT projects *Job Responsibilities:* • Perform Research and Analysis with the understanding of Healthcare Standards and Interoperability on assigned special topics providing reports/white papers that have to be very well written and articulated for business owners. • Gather business needs/requirements with the understanding of CMS systems, policies and guidelines. • Lead the analysis activities of IT projects for clients through elicitation and documentation of business and system level requirements, impact assessments and ad-hoc analyses as needed to support project goals and in certain situations, without detailed direction or tasking. *Job Qualifications Required:* • 7+ years of experience performing as a Business Analyst supporting Health IT projects catering to Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). • Ability to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes. • Experience developing clear and concise documentation to include customer process documentation, business, functional, and non-functional requirements. • Experience developing process models, use cases, and test case scenarios to support testing or as business needs and processes change. • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communication. • Works well as a team, as well as individually, at all levels of an organization to obtain knowledge that facilitates problem resolution. • Collaboration skills with the Program/Project Managers and customer to analyze business needs and processes and make recommendations for improvements. • Possess a strong attention to detail, demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day work. • Ability to productively and consistently handle multiple priorities, organizes workload and meets strict deadlines. • Experience with project standards, process and procedure and apply standards consistently. *Job Qualifications Optional:* • Experience with initiatives under The Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) – Standards and Interoperability (S&I) framework • Experience involving Electronic Submission of Medical Documentation (esMD) initiative or program. • Good understanding of the healthcare related HL7 CDA, IHE, EDI X12, HITSP standards and profiles.
