The position may be extended based on budget, need, and individual's fit within the department. The manager highly prefers a local candidate, but is open to candidates in the area that are able to complete a *face-to-face* interview *without* an initial phone screen. The ideal candidate will have experience specifically within the public sector, preferably State or local government. All applicants must be able to meet all background check requirements. *Responsibilities:* Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding and must have strong technical skills in multi-tier .NET applications. Programmer will be involved in the design and development of service-enabled enterprise applications on the .NET platform. This is a team environment. •Design, develop WebPages in .Net technologies. •Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database schemas and scripts, including views, triggers and stored procedures; •Complete assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks in a timely and accurate manner •Work closely with the business analysts and users to confirm the integration requirements identified. •Validate that the application requirements meet overall business process needs, are within the project scope, and are internally consistent. •Analyze the use cases and activity diagrams to identify any additional integration requirements •Assist in the creation of development standards and methodologies in the .NET environment •Maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit DMHS. •Review application and technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability *Position: 2* Position: Sharepoint Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Months Long Term Interview: Phone then Face to Face Seeking An Applications Developer Who Has Experience Working With Asp.Net, Ms Sharepoint, Sql Andother web-based technologies to aid our ongoing effort in the area of new/existing development for a globally distributed applications environment. This person must be detail oriented and have the skills necessary to lead a team. Technical Skills Required A minimum of 5 year’s experience in the IT industry. At least 3 years experience in SharePoint 2007. At least 3 years experience in SQL Server. Demonstrable experience of delivering commercial custom web parts. Practical experience of using, implementing and deploying SharePoint solutions in an enterprise environment.
