*Position: Oracle Data entry Payroll Specialist Location: New York, New
York*

*Duration: 6+ months*

*Rate: $45/hr. all Inclusive*


*Local Candidates to the Greater New York City area are preferred *Client
is seeking Payroll Specialist who has worked with Oracle Payroll Systems
for a 6+ month project in New York, NY. The candidate selected will assist
the Director with the HR/Payroll Oracle transformation. The candidate will
need to understand the processing of all Weekly and Semi Monthly payrolls
in compliance with company policies and government rules/regulations, tax
filings and reconciliations, testing all System maintenance and audit
requirements.

*Responsibilities:*

•        Thorough understanding of HR processes in order to interpret
business needs and communicate system set-up requirements to GIS for
resolution.

•        Develop and execute test scripts; partner with GIS, HR Records
staff members, and Payroll in quality assurance testing new releases,
system enhancements/changes, legislative mandates, SOX requirements, tax
changes.

•        Responsible for executing complex HR processing transactions on an
on-going basis into the Oracle HR/Payroll system.  This includes but is not
limited to, utilizing Oracle's Data Loader or other technology for mandated
cost center changes; KBX tool or other technology for processing merit
increases; and Taleo Import Form for new hire processing.

•        Daily audit of HR transactions entered into the system in
accordance with SOX compliance.

•        Independently create and develop HR system reports for auditing
data to ensure the integrity and quality of employees' records entered into
the system; execute findings, as required.

•        Analyze, and execute intricate specifications outlined in the
terms of employment contracts, legal agreements, and
reorganization/restructure initiatives.

•        Work with the HR Business Partners in providing information to
employees by researching, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely
manner.

•        Support maintenance and enhancements of HR related systems,
including, but not limited to Kronos, IDMS, Taleo.

•        Handle special projects when needed.

*Qualifications: *

•        Strong skills in utilizing the Oracle HR/Payroll and related HR
systems. *Oracle E-Business Suite HR version 11/ 12 experience is a must.*

•        Five or more years combined experience in Clerical/Customer
Service, preferably in a retail environment.

•        Proficiency with MS Office applications including; Word,
PowerPoint,  Excel, and Outlook.

•        Answering phones; email correspondence; communicating in a
professional manner with all managers, teammates and customers.

•        Experience / Exposure to the Cognos reporting application is a Plus
