*Skills Required:*

Application Administration including installation and
configuration,deployment of new applications, production
support,troubleshooting, and user admin
Server Administration, including installation and configuration, deployment
of new applications, production support and troubleshooting
IIS Server Administration
Linux and Apache Administration
Experience in an Agile development environment
Experience with the management of complex web application hosting
environments
Experience with the management of large-scale infrastructure systems
Ability to read, understand, and create infrastructure architecture design
documents
Experience creating technical documents, standard operating procedures, and
related materials
Detailed technical understanding of infrastructure components, their
dependencies, and interactions between servers
Detailed technicial understandinf of virtual systems, networks, databases,
web applications, e-mail systems, data centers, etc
Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow
direction from lead technicians, work with customers, participate in
technical plan
Experience creating technical documents, standard operating procedures, and
related materials
*Desired:*

The Server, Web and Application Administrator will be required to work in a
fast-paced environment and requires the ability to transition quickly
between different platforms and applications throughout a working day. This
position will be replacing a long term employee who was a “jack of all
trades” and had supported several different applications and platforms.
Work expectations are listed below:
*Experience with the management of complex web application hosting
environments.
*Experience with the management of large-scale infrastructure systems.
*Ability to read, understand, and create infrastructure architecture design
documents.
*Detailed technical understanding of infrastructure components, their
dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks,
databases, web applications, e-mail systems, data centers, etc.
*Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow
direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in
technical planning.
*Experience creating technical documents, standard operating procedures,
and related materials
*Possess strong communications skills
*Able to work on multiple concurrent projects
*Ability to complete assignments timely and submit weekly status reports
indicating progress on assigned tasks, performance against assigned project
due dates, and identification and suggested resolution for issues having a
potential to adversely impact performance and/or the project.
*Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors
and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
*Shall adhere to DAS ITE work rules.
7 to 8 years of relevant experience; preferred education 4 year college
degree or equivalent technical study.
