*Location : Sunnyvale, CA *
*Duration : 8-12 months.*
*Start Date : ASAP*
Skillset Should be proficient in Pentaho Admin Activities;
Should have experience as a Pentaho Admin
Essential Functions:
Export data stage jobs from QA environment
Import data stage jobs to all non-production environments
Compilation of jobs once the import process is completed
Deletion of jobs\common object\routines\shared containers
Creation\Deletion of surrogate files across all non-production environments
Moving\Deleting\Transferring of data files/shell scripts at Unix level
Giving access to the files present at Unix folders.
Execution of shell scripts
Execution of Federal masking jobs
Modification of parameter sets like setting up the data base connection
etc.
Adding value files at job level
Configuration of nodes at project level\job level
Adding TNS Entries to the oracle server
Providing dsx files (data stage export copies) from QA\production
environments
Releasing data stage jobs, if the job got locked.
Creation of users at administration level
Providing\Removing access to the users
Removal of unwanted characters at source files present at Unix level
Providing support if any issues w.r.t login to the data stage applications
Assigning the tickets and closing the same upon completion of the task at
IT management suite
Sending data stage log files to the users
Analyzing and providing the solution if job aborts/ job running for long
time etc
