You will be for all client-side technology including feature enhancement on our javascript web application. General Responsibilities * (30%) e-Commerce Web Architecture o Understand client's eCommerce functionality and business requirements o Collaborate with marketing, agency and in-house developers, requirements analysts, and technical project team on all areas of UI Engineering o Apply user interface design skills when implementing features * (60%) Web Development o Write, modify, and debug e-Commerce web user interfaces such as dominos.com, Online Ordering, Centralized Ordering, and Pizza Tracker o Generate tests for User Interfaces o Rapidly prototype new ideas & concepts o Transition developed applications and systems into testing and production phases o Estimate the duration of design & development tasks on an on-going basis o Support production of all applications developed * (10%) Self-Directed Innovation o Self-directed research & development of new web and mobile technology applications to improve the customer e-Commerce experience o Suggests new technologies and approaches, often demonstrating and championing their use. Qualifications * Fluency in JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, CSS, & XHTML * Expert in developing efficient AJAX interfaces with in-depth knowledge of available user interface libraries and frameworks (e.g. YUI, DOJO, JQuery, Prototype, etc.) * Working knowledge of Flash, digital imaging and digital imaging tools, and back end techniques * 4+ years experience building JavaScript/CSS/JSP-based front ends for viewing on multiple browsers and operating systems (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) * Comfortable with usability and information architecture principles.
