*Requirement Information* *Requirement Title* *PeopleSoft HRIS Consultant* *Description* *Senior PeopleSoft HRIS Consultant 6 month contract Minneapolis, MN * *Focus: Functional setup, configuration, and automation of Ben Admin and TAM* *Essential duties and responsibilities:* · Supports HR team in identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements involving PeopleSoft applications. Acts as SME to provide analysis of workflow, system capabilities, and potential configuration solutions. Conducts fit-gap analysis of PeopleSoft with current and proposed processes and makes recommendation for optimization. · Provides coordination and technical resource expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of configurable components. Support proposed system configuration changes in anticipation of open enrollment. · Support HR team to ensure successful and reliable interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems. Identifies interface requirements for data transfers between systems. Creates import/export templates or works with third party vendor to develop templates. Communicates effectively with developers and other technical professionals to create interface programs. · Serve as technical resource and mentor for current HRIS Analyst and on PeopleSoft functionality, benefit plan structure, and appropriate data entry methods. · Standardize the current query naming convention and reporting structure. Audit existing queries for accuracy. Determine data needs and develop new standardized reporting. Create standard and customized queries. · Collaborate with users to develop, maintain, and distribute reports/queries. Determine data needs and how to accurately capture data. · Train HR team on PS functionality and reporting capabilities. *Experience:* · A thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and how each module is interrelated, including an understanding of applicability to the HR function. Specific experience required includes: Core HR, Recruiting Solutions (Talent Acquisition Manager & Candidate Gateway), Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Manager Self Service, Employee Self Service, Profile Management and Payroll for North America. Emphasis on design, implementation, system administration, and procedure development. · Demonstrated HRMS experience must include a thorough knowledge of applicable reporting tools (i.e., Query and Crystal) and record layout/structure to analyze and determine the best method of data retrieval. Ability to read and interpret SQR and SQL is preferred. Ability to build query structure with eligibility file requirements. · Ability to provide effective error resolution, to develop applicable and accurate reports and to serve as liaison to IT for interpretation of HR functional needs. · Ability to provide a balance of functional and systems knowledge in order to effectively test applied fixes and changes. · Knowledge of relational databases and PeopleSoft application architecture. · Knowledge of HR business processes and experience implementing HR programs or plans. · Knowledge of process flow and/or process improvement, as well as quality management. · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills to develop, analyze and present reports. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio for flowcharting, documenting and user communication is preferred. · Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills to prioritize conflicting deadlines and needs. Must also possess strong attention to detail in order to ensure thorough application testing and to verify the accuracy and applicability of reports and data.
