Rate: $50/hr 6+ months Little Rock, AR Phone interview Provides AIX/Power7 architecture support for customer base Provides AIX/Power7 administration, problem resolution, and support for customers Possess strong working knowledge and skill with PowerVM (virtualization), VIO, and NIM Provides recommendations for and implements system tuning and configuration changes in AIX 6.1, 7.1 and Power7 Is comfortable with perl & shell scripting, creating new scripts, and modifying existing scripts to automate processes Has practical working knowledge of DB2, WebSphere, & Cognos, at the operating system level Understands and adheres to proper change control procedures Maintains technical documentation to reflect changes to the environment Configure and administer Logical volume manager / Veritas Voume Manager.
