The Mobile QA Engineer will be responsible for leading the QA testing effort for mobile applications. The candidate will leverage their QA skills and experience to define the overall testing strategy for mobile applications and supporting Data API structures. As a member of the Quality Engineering team, the Mobile Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring McGraw Hill’s software products are of the highest quality in terms of functionality, usability and reliability, and expected to demonstrate creativity and initiative, and must be self-motivating with ability to work independently. The successful candidate should have a BS in Computer Sciences/Engineering or minimum of four years of experience in software quality assurance or equivalent, including 3 years with Mobile devices testing and troubleshooting for iOS and Android. The successful candidate must also be well-versed in all software testing methodologies (white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional) and have a solid understanding of quality assurance process and methodologies. They will need a passion for application functional testing and to drive improvement in the overall customer experience.
