*Position: Python Developer* *Length: 2 plus years * *Location: Lake Oswego Oregon* *Key Areas:* I am looking for a scripting resource specialized in *python (preferred) or GAWK* (who's experienced in building scripts to parse report, EOB files). Additional exp with *shell scripting will be a huge plus. * You will report to the Applications Development Manager and will assist in design, development, and unit testing within the ClaimsConnect solution area. This is a multi-year, multi-regional project supporting the implementing of Epic Tapestry. *Essential Functions:* • Analyze and review business, functional and high-level technical requirements for ClaimsConnect solution. • Develop scripts jointly and independently for all modules within the ClaimsConnect solution, following development standards. • Mentor junior resources in Python. • Identify scripting support issues, action resolutions, and provide technical assistance for moderately complex problems. • Prepare and package production-ready code modules for staging. • Rapidly learn and apply new technologies. • Effectively communicate with other Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Quality Control, and across other technology team boundaries • Commit to a mindset of quality and continuous improvement. *Qualifications* *Basic Qualifications:* • A Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience. • *7 plus years’ experience in an implementation environment. * *• 5 experienced in building scripts to parse report, EOB files* *• 1 plus years in a Healthcare environment* *• 2 plus years of Shell Scripting* • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player, ability to work under changing requirements. • *All type of Epic application experience is a plus* • Being able to work in *Agile/SCRUM and/or Extreme Programming development methodologies is a plus.* *Preferred Qualifications:* • Experience with EPIC, TAPESTRY, Clarity is a plus. • Thorough understanding of object oriented design and programming. • Experience with clustered solutions at both the application and database layers. *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Sr. Technical Recruiter * *Email- arv...@idctechnologies.com <arv...@idctechnologies.com>* *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4073 !!
