Develop code in Java. Maintain existing code through bug fixes and enhancements. Provide production support. Unit test Java code and manipulate data for analysis of system requirements. Use Oracle, Java, J2EE, Eclipse, XML and Rational ClearCase. Applicants will qualify for Software Developer position with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as related experience to include web development using Java, J2EE, Spring/ Spring JDBC, XML, PL/SQL, Oracle, and Rational Clear Case as well as Unit Testing. Suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Experience may have been gained before, during or after degree. The Sr Developer may be responsible for overseeing team efforts, providing strategic technical direction, establishing and recommending changes. *REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: * Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 8+ years related technical experience or a Master's Degree in a related technical field and 6+ years of related experience. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Experience with JAVA/J2EE, and XML. Familiarity with Struts, JSP, Servlets and JDBC. Good verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and ability to apply best practices using industry standards throughout all software developed. *DESIRED SKILLS: *Experience with Spring/Spring JDBC, Collexis, ClearCase, Rational Rose, UML tools.
