Below is the position of *Server Side Test/Automation Engineer –SAN Diego, CA. *Kindly go through the job description and let me know if your consultant is interested in this position. *Need: Server Side Test/Automation Engineer* *Location:* San Diego, CA *Duration: *3 plus Months Contract *Responsibilities * • Write and execute load tests. • Build scaffolds in C# as needed. • Create software validation plans. • Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases/scripts. • Thoroughly document test results and report test progress. • Record and track issues in the bug tracking system. • Analyze failures and collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure root cause is investigated. • Create requirements traceability matrices which demonstrate test coverage of all features. • Write test reports documenting results of testing. *Requirements* • Expertise in one or more load testing tools such as JMeter, Mercury, etc. • Experience with calling web services • Familiarity with server side design patterns. • Experience writing queries and creating schemas with SQL Server or other relational databases. • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline. • 3+ years of related experience in developing test protocols and testing web services. • Knowledge of C# programming language and Visual Studio 2012, as well as HTML/JavaScripts. • Unit test experience using Visual Studio. • Knowledge in server design, including cybersecurity, patching, port scanning, databases, firewalls, virtual machines, logins, and virus software. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. • Understanding of good software development and testing practices. • Experience in medical device industry is a plus.
