Senior Functional Consultant: Supervises business diagnosis and planning
activities. Leads requirements gathering and business process redesign
efforts. Prepares summary findings and participates in conducting gap
analysis between as-is processes and best practice. Formulates the specific
solutions to address prioritized gaps. Leads planning and analysis
activities, and develops/reviews detailed designs. Functional Consultant:
Analyzes and assures quality of the business / functional data collected.
Applies business diagnosis and planning tools to document as-is
capabilities. Facilitates requirements gathering. This includes identifying
user representatives, preparing interview questions,  and conducting
requirement gathering sessions. Performs planning and analysis activities
related to business functions and processes, and helps to develop detailed
designs.



LEVEL 4 Requirements: Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent and 7-10 years
of related and progressively more responsible experience. Performs highly
complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects.
Contributes to the formulation of IT strategy. Creatively applies a wide
range of technical and/or management principles. Serves as lead expert in a
complex subject. Recognized in and outside of the organization as a
significant resource in subject area. Has defined authority and
responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical,
financial and quality aspects. Is accountable for actions and decisions
taken by self and subordinates.



This is specifically for a JD Edwards advanced pricing functional resource.
On site every week. Direct client contact on a daily basis. Must have
implementation and upgrade experience in v9.0
