Need resumes for this backfill position: Business Intelligence Programmer Lead Princeton, NJ Rate is $65 NEED LOCALS for in person *Position Title* Business Intelligence Programmer Lead *Recruitment End Date* *Notes on Mutiple Hires* 1 pos, 6 mos plus Location is Princeton *Special Skills and/or Requirements* The Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst- Lead provides project and team leadership as well as day-to-day support of the production, QA, test, and development using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools. The incumbent is responsible for the administration of the MSBI Infrastructure and provide 24x7 availability of the Enterprise Business Intelligence. This role also performs software upgrades, performance monitoring, system tuning, upgrades and infrastructure management. *Responsibilities * . Lead and mentor teams of other MSBI staff to solve technical BI solutions with little or no supervision . Lead the activities of providing BI solutions, developing project plans, monitoring progress, and resolving issues . Provide consultation and knowledge transfer to peers and internal contacts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the administration and new development using MSBI . Provides technical expertise to design business solutions using acquired knowledge and experience related to MSBI . Provide MSBI administration including install, configure, control failover and load balancing across multiple servers and maintain security . Plan/drive Business Intelligence project deliverables for the entire ETS organization using MSBI as a BI tool . Perform application code migrations . Trouble-shoot hardware and software problems as they apply to design, implementation, or installation activities . Schedule and coordinate infrastructure maintenance activities including such items as hardware and software upgrades and maintenance . Consult with ETS business community to gather requirements for specific BI scorecard, dashboard and reporting needs; write detailed specification to be used in developing reports and processes. . Design and develop scorecards, dashboards and multi-dimension data cubes using MSBI . Consult with end users to refine/enhance existing BI applications . Participate in the design and development of enterprise wide data repositories; make recommendations to improve the efficiency and functionality of the database, MSBI environment and associated processes . Develop and deliver reports on an adhoc basis using MSBI; develop and execute a verification and security strategy to ensure the accuracy of the data distributed in the reports. . Function as the enterprise MSBI administer ensuring performance and security is compliant . Assist management in attaining problem resolutions, working with multiple ETS BI partner groups and multiple levels of staff and management *Process Outputs and Deliverables* .High performance scorecards, dashboard and BI applications in concert with sponsors business requirements and commitments. . Highly available server infrastructure. . Production service level agreements met . Implementation of ad-hoc data requests (adhering to data security policies) . The Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst- Lead provides project and team leadership. This role functions autonomously on a regular basis. Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses: . Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Relevant Years of Experience Required: . 8 to 10 years of related experience in IT or a related field Other Requirements (Specialized skill sets, behavioral/technical): .
