Please help to fill below requirement:- VMware Engineer Irving, TX 6 months + Phone & In-person $45-50/hr on C2C all inclusive Summary: This position will be responsible for creating automation and orchestrations for the VMware ESXi 5.x and 6.x server farm hosting several thousand VMs. Once these are complete, a build team will use them to deploy new VMs in application sets. *MANAGER NOTES: * The successful candidate will have experience with VMware with vCenter Orchestrator, vCloud Director, and vCloud Automation Center on version 5 or later. Candidates must be able to create a scripted multi-tier deployment consisting of Web, App, and Database server VMs with customization. Highly preferred candidates with additional experience in scripting such as PowerShell, shell scripting, or related technology. Also preferred is experience with Puppet, Yum, Windows System Update Services, or similar. *“Since we want a more specific targeted skill set, here is some additional clarity:* *3-5 years of production support experience in vSphere 4.x / 5.x clustered environments.* *1-2 years of production support experience specific to vSphere 5.1 clustered environments.* *We wanted to further specify production support experience because we did see a number of candidates particularly with vSphere 5.1 cluster environments that stated there only experience with vSphere 5.1 was in a non-production environment (lab, home-based network, etc.) and we are looking for candidates with real-world production experience in these vSphere 5.1 environments.”* *Bonus experience: * - Previous production support experience streamlining vSphere management tasks leveraging PowerCLI and/or vCenter Orchestrator. - Previous production support experience with installation, configuration, and administration of a site-to-site vCenter Site Recovery Manager solution. - Previous production support experience with vSphere 5.5 clustered environments and upgrading from vSphere 5.x to vSphere 5.5. - Previous production support experience with vCloud Automation Center 5.x / 6.x for customer VM deployments and customer self-service enablement. *Education/Experience:* - Bachelors degree and 4 years experience or equivalent 8-10 years experience required *Skills:* -VMware ESXi 5.x administration at an advanced level (Required) - VMware vCenter Orchestrator, vCloud Director, or vCloud Automation Center to an advanced level (Required) - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) - Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) - Strong ability to troubleshoot advanced problems using vendor, peer, and Internet support resources (Required) - Automation use Puppet (Preferred) - Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008 administration experience with PowerShell (Preferred) - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6 administration experience with shell scripting (Preferred) - Experience with automated patch management and update services such as Windows Server Update Services, yum, Puppet, or related products (Preferred) -- *Please only reply to my official ID [email protected] <[email protected]>* Sam (Saurabh Gaur) Sage Group Consulting Inc.
