*Position : Business/Data Analyst * *Location : Jersey City, NJ* *Duration : 6 Months* · Business/Data Analyst Role · Looking for a candidate with Advanced Excel skills and more in depth knowledge of data and analytics · Prior vendor management experience with multi-national financial services organization (e.g. insurance company, bank, etc.) with understanding of sourcing and contracts · Archer/Ariba experience a big plus 1. Critically analyze and evaluate data / information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile / address conflicts 2. Conducts independent analyses and reviews requirements utilizing knowledge of alternatives, business systems and requirements 3. Ability to understand the underlying Vendor Governance policy and standards to enable the review of information associated with vendors and contracts for the purpose of ensuring compliance to standards 4. Determines issues associated with vendor governance related data and provides resolution and remediation 5. Works with data and understands the underlying data and interconnectivity between data to achieve a compliance review and identify open items 6. Works with various data owners to address open issues and drives those issues to closure 7. Drives creation, definition, and documentation of business requirements and functional specifications, where required 8. Discusses, analyzes, and reviews requirements with team members, as necessary 9. Decomposes high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding 10. Analyzes high-level information requirements and information flows 11.
