PhoneGap Developer
Downtown Chicago, IL 6 months + Phone *Project:* Client has a customer facing mobile application that runs on both tablets and phones used for wealth management/banking. The application has been developed by a 3rd party partner of theirs but that company currently cannot support the influx of work they have to add new functionality to the application. The PhoneGap Developer will work with the backend application developers and front end designers to develop/implement the new functionality into the application. The client has the requirements documented and detailed out, but lack the in-house phone gap development experience. *Responsibilities: * Responsible for development and enhancements to mobile application systems. Maintain development activities that support mobile banking development, ensuring high quality work. Demonstrable detailed understanding of design principles and methods, technology and standards. Interact with business users and Business Analysts to understand the requirements and create design documents. Work with project Managers and development leads to complete assigned tasks and with expected quality and on time. *Required Experience:* Experience working with geographically distributed teams and vendor resources. Knowledge of authoring tools and human interface. Must be experienced with performance aspects of application development. Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation.
