*Position: Network Engineer / System Design engineer* *Location: Middletown, NJ*
*Duration: 6+months* *Pay rate: $50/hr on C2C* A System Design engineer who would be leading the Network management requirements for variety of services like DNS, DHCP, Radius, NTP. · Need to have strong system/process knowledge across Fault, Inventory, Provisioning, Account, Security and Reporting. · System Design Engineer should be able to determine impacts and suggest changes in the system & processes based upon high level business requirements. · Daily activities include but are not limited to: a) Creating Network Management Technical Plans (NMTPs) b) Supporting Development, Testing, Operations group in terms of understanding and implementation of Network management and service requirements b) Building and documenting solutions to meet operational and business requirements d) Analyzing and monitoring system dashboards/reports. e) Able to create FFA (First field application) Test plans based on NMTPs, which will be used by operations for validation before go live. f) Strong domain knowledge in control plane applications like DNS, DHCP, Radius, NTP and IT Network Management systems. g) Great Interpersonal and written documentation skills. Expert level skillset: a. ISP architectures and protocols including Radius, DHCP, and DNS. b. Solaris/RHEL user level knowledge c. Strong Protocol knowledge for DNSTCP/UDP/IP/IPv6 d. Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking e. Scripting f.
