*Active Directory, Exchange, Core Server (DHCP, DNS, SCCM, SCOM), Cisco
Networking and Server Virtualization.*



Supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company's network,
client servers, databases, telephony, data communications, and any IT
equipment. The IT Manager - Operations will also work closely with IT
Leadership team and operational decision makers in other departments in
order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support
cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.



*Key Objectives: *

• Maintain and manage network, telephony and server infrastructure,
optimizing performance and maximizing availability.

• Technical lead for US office working in conjunction with Divisional
Global IT department.

• Define standards and requirements for purchase and installation of new
hardware and software devices to manage the US IT Infrastructure.

• Responsible for procurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of
IT hardware and software (including PCs, peripherals, servers, networking
equipment, operating systems and other software).

• Responsible for local inventory maintenance and software license
management

• Provide support to Windows 7/8 and Microsoft Office 2010/2013
applications

• Responsible for the learning, management and development of all direct
reports.

• Implement issue management process that increases customer satisfaction,
while reducing ticket resolution speed.

• Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the
guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).



*Technical skills required: *



• *Excellent understanding* of Microsoft Operating systems, Windows 7/8 &
Server 2012

• Expertise as *technical lead of a Microsoft Enterprise Network. Strong
experience with Microsoft Exchange Environment; Microsoft Exchange Server
2010/2013; Windows *



Server and AD Infrastructure; *Active Directory*, Group Policy; Windows
Server 2012 (*physical and virtual*), Hyper-V virtualization environment
with strong disaster recovery experience and experience supporting
high-availability environment.

• Provide network support and implementation for *Cisco network* with Layer
3 switching and routing, ability to configure firewalls, site-to-site VPN,
and experience with MPLS.

• Understanding of CAS, HUB, Public Folder management, Archive Mail and
mobile device management technologies.

• *Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft System Center Products* (
*SCOM*, *SCCM*).

• Manage and Monitor Enterprise level Multi-site *Microsoft Active
Directory* Forest over WAN.

• Experience with emphasis on infrastructure/systems support in a Microsoft
Environment with IT security experience.

• Hardware and software troubleshooting and support of HP Blade and SAN
servers

• Ability to Architect, Implement and Manage Hyper-V Server Virtualization
systems and Windows clustering.

• Manage and monitor virtualization environment built on Windows Server
2012 platform.

• Architect and technical lead for Disaster Recovery planning and
execution.

• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting
network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with team
on network optimization.

• Utilize experience and knowledge of infrastructure and storage to
engineer, administer, manage, document, and test the organizations backup
and recovery routines via EVault.

• Manage and monitor SQL database cluster

• Responsible for technical maintenance and support of Microsoft Lync
Server 2013 within the business environment.

• Support and maintain SharePoint 2013 environment across multiple farms.

• Manage and monitor SQL database and Web cluster

• Manage and monitor Remotes Desktop Services for remote workers

• Experience in troubleshooting Windows Clustering environment.

• Architect behind IP scheme for both public and private IP addressing

• Ensures data protection regulations are complied with at all times

• Works to ensure that the IT policy is enforced at all times and reports
any infringements.

• Manage and monitor all systems within the infrastructure by using all
relevant Microsoft System Center suite products including SCOM 2012.

• Support large 24x7x365 Pharma Call Center applications and telephony
system

• Ensure all incidents, change requests and problems are logged
appropriately within the helpdesk system

• Ensure responsibility for conducting ad hoc IT projects along with proper
documentation and frequent communication with IT Operations Team Leader
regarding progress.

• Ensure all processes both existing and new are documented to the highest
level

• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL principles

• Knowledge and understanding of common Project Management Methodologies

• Ensure responsibility for conducting ad hoc IT projects along with proper
documentation and frequent communication with IT Infrastructure Manager
regarding progress.



*Job Holder Specification: *

• *Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 10 years related experience or equivalent
combination*.

• *1-2 years of experience should have been in managing the operations and
staff of a small or medium-sized systems environment. *

*• 5-8 years of experience should be in developing and managing Windows
Enterprise Environment and Cisco-based network. *

*• Microsoft Certifications for Windows Server are highly beneficial but
not required. *

*• Previous experience of managing call center environment is beneficial
but not required. *

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations and maintaining relevant
certifications.

• Customer service focus and expert in relationship building.

• Previous Pharma experience a plus.
