You will be a key piece to our Platform team. You will be
looked at as a leader for developing the next generation of radio web and
cloud applications and leverage your passion for creating great user
interfaces to drive innovation.
You will have the chance to choose the most appropriate set of tools that
match the team's capabilities and workflow, to enable the highest possible
long term velocity. We need a brilliant engineering mind with a passion for
cutting edge technology!
Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for
mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
Use cutting edge technology and provide a simple, easy to use, and snappy
user interface to solve complex problems with data.
Leverage the cloud to support massively scaling web applications
Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
Divide tasks into quantifiable subtasks and reasonably predict the effort
to complete those subtasks.
Managing offshore teams
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and
technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Ideal Candidate:
Solid core Java and multi-threading experience.
Strong database experience, preferably MySQL. Strong data modeling and SQL
skills.
Solid experience implementing complex Web-based systems in high volume
enterprise-class environments.
Experience in OOD methodology, Java, XML, JEE (JSP, Servlet, JDBC)
Experience in building highly interactive applications based on open-source
technologies such as Java, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
Experience with major Java web application and Spring frameworks, major
ORMs (Hibernate)
Experience developing and consuming web services (SOAP and/or REST)
Experience deploying enterprise applications.
Proven ability to work well with others in a fast paced, iterative product
definition and development environment (Agile/Scrum).
Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Familiarity with Component Web Frameworks (GWT, Wicket, Tapestry)
