Please help to fill below requirement:- Data Modeler Candidates Needed *Charlotte, NC. * *for a long term contact * *Candidates MUST have recent experience working within the Healthcare environment or they will not be considered. Candidates MUST have experience with Kimball Methodology and Star and Snowflake schemas. Below is the full job description. * *Only GC, EAD GC and USC.* Description: Position involves rapidly developing dimensional models based on specific Healthcare business requirements in a multi-tier Integrated DW environment. Experience in Data Analysis and Definition, to support implementation of Normalized and STAR/SNOWFLAKE schemas is a must. Strong foundation in industry standard Data Warehousing design concepts is required. Comprehensive Knowledge of Ralph Kimball’s Data Modeling Concepts including Transaction dimensions, conformed dimensions and facts, slowly changing dimension, multi-Star/ Snowflake Schema Modeling, different types of Fact tables. Prior experience implementing DW presentation layer - including design and definition of logical tables, physical sources, dimensions, columns and aggregation rules. Recent experience working within a Healthcare environment is a must. Responsibilities: · Analyze data requirements and develop logical and physical data models for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts and Metadata Repositories. · Translate business data requirements into logical and physical data models · Collaborate with the team to convert the Physical data model to a high performance physical database platform. Ensure the design approach results in a physical database to support business Intelligence capabilities. · Create and manage an array of data design deliverables including data models, data diagrams, data flows and corresponding data dictionary documentation. Develops and maintains data architecture and administration standards including standardization of table names, column names, data types, etc. · Follow standards for database design and overall data architecture to assess data quality and act as a liaison with various technical service teams which include database administrators and platform administrators. · Identify opportunities for sharing and utilizing data across boundaries, thus extracting maximum benefit from the data resource. Requirements: · A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in developing Data Warehouse Data Models using Kimball Methodology in large, complex database systems. · Minimum of 3 plus recent years of experience developing data models for Data Warehouses within the Healthcare sector. · Solid working knowledge of Star and Snowflake schemas. · Solid understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies (Dimensional Modeling, Denormalization, Data Warehouse Appliances). · Solid understanding of ETL tools. · Strong written and verbal communication. · Must have recent experience within the Healthcare environment to be considered. -- *Please only reply to my official ID [email protected] <[email protected]>* Sam (Saurabh Gaur) Sage Group Consulting Inc.
