*Position: *Project manager

*Duration: *6 months



*Key Responsibilities:*

· Support the transition of new and existing projects to an Agile way of
working.
· Assess team readiness for agile, and agree the project fluency levels
reported to leadership
· Act as a team agile coach embedded within teams as required:
o Mentor and coach agile delivery teams, team coaches and product owners.
o Identify and coach emergent team coaches within the department.
o Provision of onsite, adhoc and formal agile/lean training, with support
from the central Agile adoption team.
o Enable Lean practice adoption, in the context of project delivery.
o Establish project metrics to measure iterative customer benefits.
o Help the Leadership Team understand and develop their Agile and Lean
knowledge and practices.
· Participate and support in Agile Communities Of Practice: ensuring
consistent methods/approaches are used across the group
· Become fluent in the Barclays Agile Change Lifecycle (our SDLC for Agile
projects), and support its adoption by projects
· Identify impediments to the Agile ways of working, and work with the
central team to solve/mitigate.

*Skills/knowledge*

· Agile Expertise, Kanban knowledge beneficial
· Lean knowledge needed, in the context of Agile project delivery.
· Servant leadership skills.
· Excellent facilitator.
· Excellent communicator.
· Ability to work autonomously.
· High levels of initiative.
· Passion for Agility and integrity.
· CSP qualification desirable.
