Besides contributing to new projects, the candidate needs to be able to maintain and enhance existing software products with minimal direction. Working directly with customers will be required to understand the highest level parameters of a business problem and designing the solution before requirements gathering. Candidate must be able to comfortably communicate (verbally and written) technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa. Collaborate and communicate with different teams within the organization and triage technical issues across teams Help in every stage of the project lifecycle – analysis, design, development, test and support the application *Requirements:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. 5+ years of experience in Software and Web Development Strong experience in Visual Studio (ASP.NET and VB.NET, C# is a plus) Strong Database knowledge of SQL Server and experience workign with LINQ Experience and ability to code in and work with VB6 Proficient in solution design Browser-based programming proficiencies in Javascript Experience with secure coding practices Production environment deployment and maintenance Experience with Asynchronous Programming and Parallel programming Experience with an Automated Build process Good debugging, troubleshooting and analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas Operates independently with minimal guidance by management Ability to manage numerous concurrent projects Knowledge of web/integration services, including WMB, RESTful, SOAP and WSDL. Experience working on large scale, high availability Ecommerce sites or customer-facing personal finance sites (ie.
