*Infrastructure Project Manager.*

*Location: Salt Lake City, Utah*

*Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire *

*Need to be Green Card or US Citizen*



*Responsibilities:*

-      The project manager will coordinate and monitor the scheduling,
financials, and technical performance of the projects.

-      Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to
project problems.

-      Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

-      Responsible for developing and running complex projects.

-      Ensure projects delivered on time, on budget, to scope.

-      Develop / Create / Manage / Track: Project scope, Project Plans,
Financials, Risk & Issue plans, Resource plan, Changes, Procurement

-      Keep all projects on track - escalate decisions to program manager
as necessary.

-      Matrix-manage the project delivery team (as required)

-      Compliance with company standards and procedures

-      Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals.

-      Communications conduit to stakeholders and program manager; conducts
periodic briefings/status updates.

-      Serve as single point of contact for project level issues / questions

-      Prepare complex technical reports, plans and presentations



*Required Skills: *

-      Ability to anticipate problems and analyze ways to mitigate risks

-      IT Project Management or technical lead experience

-      Experience with projects in multiple technologies, business
functions, and industries.

-      *Working knowledge of Technology Infrastructure systems and
solutions such as SAN, NAS, Backups, Networks, Windows, Unix, Linux,
Databases, and Virtualization. *

-      Experience of managing geographically distributed and culturally
diverse work-groups.

-      *Practical large-scale implementation experience, that implemented
(and supported) mission critical infrastructure. *

-      Proven experience keeping projects on time and within budget.

-      Ability to present metrics to key stakeholders.

-      Experience in working with 3rd party suppliers

-      Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to
communicate orally and in writing across functions and teams, up and down
the chain of command.

-      Gather customer/user inputs, simplifying complex topics for
non-technical audiences and preparing quick pointed summaries for
executives and stakeholders.

-      Strong motivation skills

-      Strong analytic skills

-      Strong leadership skills

-      Strong organization and customer service skills.

-      Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

-      Strong negotiation skills

-      Strong knowledge of core infrastructure

-      *Some vendor management experience - negotiation, finance etc. *

-      Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within
the community.

-      Bachelor's degree in technology related area preferred OR

-      5+ years of related technology experience

-      Strong technical capabilities

-      *Extensive experience in the virtualization space.*
