Please go through the requirement below and let me know your interest: *Job Title: Microsoft MDM Architect* *Location: Redwood City, CA 94063* *Duration: Long Contract* *Description:* - Strong business and/or technical background in the areas of Master Data Management, Meta data management, Data Quality, Data Governance, data integration (ETL) and Data Security - *Expert and hands-on knowledge of one Microsoft MDM suite of products like MDS, DQS, SSIS , SQL Server stored procedures* - Knowledge and understanding of “Logical / functional Data Sources” and/or domain knowledge in Master Data subject areas such as products, customers, vendors, locations, employees, etc. - *Experience with Master Data in the Life Sciences industry (Health Care Providers, Health Care Accounts, Affiliations) as well as knowledge of key business processes & compliance requirements in the Pharmaceutical industry is a mandatory* - Experience architecting, building, deploying and maintaining scalable, highly available, mission critical and performance friendly enterprise wide applications - Ability to lead multi-component, cross-functional programs of high-complexity - Ability to lead definition of Global IT best practices and standard methodologies; leadership in company’s technology strategy - Experience operating within qualified and/or validated applications - Working knowledge of concepts like Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and how to use these with different types of integration technologies - Proven track record implementing successful MDM initiatives - Experienced with implementation methodologies and best practices (e.g. waterfall, agile, other) - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Experience in Change Management, Release Management and Source Code control practices - Experience with data modeling, including evolution from conceptual to physical models using a tool like ERWIN - Experience with data quality analysis tools like DQS - *Experience defining data profiling and analysis criteria and development of data quality metrics* - Experience in establishing criteria for data use/test cases - Experience defining and implementing error and exception handling strategies - Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases - Ability to balance multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team - Self-starter, ‘can-do’ attitude a must in fast-moving business environment and willing to make a difference! *Desired Skills:* - Eight to ten year experience and proven capabilities in the application architecture development environment as MDM architect - *Mandatory at least 2-4 years of hands-on functional and technical experience as architect on MDM industry solutions using Microsoft MDM like MDS, DQS and SSIS* - *Mandatory to have Life Science experience in setting up MDM customer master for commercial department for drug launch.* - *10+yrs experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)* - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience · Specializations in data modeling, data architecture, Meta data management, and/or data governance. Experience working with Business Analyst/Users to translate functional requirements to technical design Experience in *onsite/offshore coordination* - Act as a primary advocate for Master Data concepts and governance - *Mandatory to have done Data quality and modeling * - Partners with business-led Master Data Organization to implement a long-range roadmap of data management solutions, including data quality initiatives - Has overall ownership for architecture and technical management of multi-subject area enterprise MDM solution set - Owns and shapes solution designs and frameworks required to support global MDM and data governance - Partners with various IT teams to syndicate master data from the MDM solution across the application landscape with consistency, integrity and reliability - Oversees resources, work products and deliverables from internal and external parties on/off shore throughout the delivery of Master Data Solutions and its operations - Provides guidance to project team to ensure adherence to Gilead standards and processes - Lead design reviews & oversee code reviews to ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications and quality guidelines - Understand and comply with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology in a validated environment.
