Administers Windows 2003 and 2008/2012 Domain Controllers in a multi-forest Windows domain environment. Assists in the day-to-day support, management and troubleshooting of a global, multi-forest Windows domain environment. Installs forest, domains and child domains. Adds and removes domain controllers, including brute force removal (metadata clean up) Evaluates sites, subnets, and replicates before expanding a network. Maintains and recovers Active Directory Domain Services using System state backup. Establishes trust relationships between domains and between forests. Monitors status of all trust relationships to customer domains to ensure that they are functioning properly. Uses Active Directory Users and Computers to view or change the location of domain-wide operations master roles. Monitors replication on all domain controllers to ensure Active Directory is replicating. Administers Active Directory delegated permissions, object types, Group Policy both manually and with automated tools like Quest and Active Administrator. Effectively communicates, both verbally and written, with managers and other team members. Prepares for upgrades to the Schema. Automates tasks using scripts for Active Directory activities Troubleshoot network routing, TCP/IP subnets, network security and AD related ports and protocols, DNS, DHCP and WINS AD authentication via Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP/LDAPS. Messaging engineering experience within an enterprise environment - utilizing Exchange 2013/2010 - PowerShell scripting is a must have. Hands on engineering experience with Administration and support of O365 (office 365) in an enterprise (25,000+ end users) environment Expert understanding of Exchange roles and configuration, high availability, capacity planning, DAG's, PowerShell and other administration scripting tools. Expert understanding of Exchange Online Hybrid Co-Existence and Exchange Online management. Strong knowledge of ADFS & Directory Sync. Strong knowledge of wireless/mobile products such as Blackberry, ActiveSync, iOS. Strong knowledge of third party Exchange email archiving platforms. Worked as part of corporate engineering/support teams Good decision making and communication skills Good understanding of regulatory requirements for messaging environments Must be detail orientated and meticulous Ability to create engineering blueprints, detailed designs and author documents and test plans etc. Ability to think outside the box Must be able to drive partnership and foster relationships with colleagues and partners Ability to manage multiple complex technical engineering deliveries essential. Ability to estimate effort and manage, prioritize delivery (engineering projects and day to day issue / lifecycle requests) Ability to work under severe pressure and harsh timelines. Qualifications: Experience: 4-6 years of Information Technology or related experience. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or related work experience Certifications: MCSE Office365 Plus: Knowledge Active directory and AD Federation services.
