*Data Center Network Engineer* *Location: Mount Laurel, NJ*
*Duration: 6+ Months* **For this position, he needs a Network Engineer that has worked in a Data Center before. Data center experience/technologies is a MUST HAVE. Key Skills: Working with large Cisco and Nexus routers and switches.. (Ex: Cisco 7200, Nexus 5K, 7K, ASR) Routing Protocols BGP, OSPF, RIP, IPv6 Hardware knowledge (ex: know the components of a router and what they do) Data center experience. Must have worked in data center Documentation Load Balancing (ex: F5) Firewalls Palo Alto a plus Network Engineer Qualifications The candidate for this position will need to have the following qualities and skill sets: Thorough working knowledge of routing and switching technologies including BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Ethernet, and Metro-Ethernet services and related configurations on Cisco and Juniper routers The expert ability to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot networking equipment Detail oriented individual that manages configurations for network equipment Strong communication skills and presentation skills for working with large groups The ability to lead and manage difficult situations effectively while working in a customer-focused environment. Experience with network automation and automation development practices like Agile and Waterfall. Experience working closely with Vendors of network equipment and channel partners Experience testing networking equipment 7+ years of experience in network industry Job Duties The candidate chosen for this position will need to be able to perform the following duties with an expert level proficiency: Test, manage and organize configuration templates for network equipment Create and validate SMOPs for service deployment and validation Test, manage, and validate a hardware platform for certification and follow all the established procedures for doing so. Manage and collaborate with Vendors on bug reviews, testing projects, code evaluations, roadmap reviews, and technology Work closely with Architecture Design engineers to test and evaluate new services.
