Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Business Analyst* *Philadelphia PA* *Long term contract* *No. of positions: 13* *$40/hr on C2C* *Job Description:* *ADDITIONAL JOB Description* · 5+years experience as a business analyst in P&C (Property and Casualtyjlnsurance Industry. · Strong understanding of SDLC Methodologies, including Agile and Scrum Methodologies. · Knowledge of Commercial Insurance lines including Commercial Automobile, GLand Property. · Experience managing vendor and/or consulting teams. · Proficient in the use of MS Office, SQL/data reporting tools, ticketing/problem tracking systems. · Evaluate data quality issues and define/implement corrective actions · Excellent problem solving skills. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Experience defining and following SDLC guidelines. · Proven record of flexibility and team participation. · Coordinate activities and communications with business users, vendors and internal IT groups. · Able and willing to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a rapidly growing environment. · Identify, assess, and document business needs and requirements. Must be able to quickly establish credibility while working in new subject area. · Assist in the development of test scenarios, test execution and test results validation. · Assist business SMEs with requirements definition and application options for new requirements. *Job Level Specific Duties* · Defines overall application functional / business requirements with end users. Recommends solution modifications, configurations, and processes. · Implements, designs and / or upgrades applications. · Creates test plans for projects. · Analyzes model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolve. · Establishes cost and time estimates for development and implementation of projects. · Produces business process flow charts. · Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership. · Evaluates user requirements for one or more specialized business applications and translates those needs into defined user assessment plans or specifications used in determining end-user business or technical needs. · Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. · Acts a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration. · Mentors less experienced team members. *Typical Years of Experience* · Typically requires 5-7 years relevant experience. *Skills* · Strong knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture. Strong analytical / problem solving skills. · Ability to identify and evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective. · Exceptional influencing and communication skills. Exceptional ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
