*Java Developer* *Loc of work: Charlotte, NC (uptown)* *Duration: 5+ months Contract * *$40.00 hr* *ONLY GC, USC, EAD GC* INTERVIEWING PROCESS: Preference is on-site interviews but understand that will not always be doable. If not local and/or unable to do onsite, they will conduct interviews via Skype (make sure candidate has the ability for Skype interviews). The ASE (Application Support Engineer) candidates will need a computer to do some coding and problem solving for them as well as for Skype. They will still utilize a reserved conference call number. · 6+ years Java web development experience which includes the programming / development of web applications (at least 4 years out of the 6 years has been US work experience). · Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. · Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. · Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. · Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. · Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. · The ideal candidate will be contract to hire eligible.
