*Job Title : .Net DeveloperLocation : Orlando, FLDuration : 6+Months ContractRate : 42/hr on C2C* *Experience in Oracle and Powerbuilder / Classice Asp is required* *Objective:* Our company wishes to obtain the services of Programmer/Analyst (or Systems Analyst) to assist in the rewrite of two applications from PowerBuilder to .Net. There is also an opportunity afterwards to rewrite several applications from classic ASP to ASP.NET (after the Powerbuilder apps are completed. *Specific Skills Set Required:* One (1) strong Senior Programmer/Analyst with a Bachelor's Degree from and accredited institution in Computer Science or closely related degree and at least 3 years of recent progressively responsible programming experience or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience, with the following additional specific skill sets: Web-based (intranet) Application development in current .Net, including C#. Oracle database experience, version 11.2 or newer (SQL stored procedures, triggers, views). Web development for the new application, using Visual Studio 2010 or 2012. Ability to analyze an existing application's functionality and translate it to a new application in the .Net architecture. Ability to work as part of a development team. Application development experience with/exposure to PowerBuilder version 12 or newer a plus, but not required Application development experience with migrating classic .ASP programs to ASP.NET a plus. Report development with Business Objects, WebFocus or BIRT a plus, but not required. Prefer user reports to be developed with one of these tools versus ASP code. *Scope:* The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: Work under a guidance of a Systems Analyst in the rewrite and/or reengineering of two (2) Powerbuilder (Real Estate Management and Volume of Work (a Procurement-related application)) applications to the .Net architecture (in order to allow us to support them going forward). Document the new applications as the project proceeds.
