Title: UX/UI Web Designer

Work location: Richmond, Virginia

Duration: through 4/22/16

Mode of Interview: * In-person only*

Description: Our client is seeking a contractor to lead agency personnel
in researching, planning, and redesigning the

agency’s overall web presence. This effort will result in multiple
deliverables, including a site

roadmap to allow the agency to progress from a website and web
applications, to a web

presence and portal. It will include a design and design language that
allows for the

development of a complete yet lightweight and flexible structure that
improves the user

experience of the agency’s online resources (on the website, on social
media and other

interactive spaces).

The new design should promote a presentation of content and actions in a
clear, simple

manner that efficiently guides the user to what they need. It should
specify a consistent look

and feel, user interface and user experience that can be used across all
modes of TAX’s web

presence and be flexible and responsive for all view port sizes (desktop to
mobile). In addition,

the design language should define a content writing style that clearly and
concisely

communicates with the user.

A style guide for the Tax website will specify exact attributes like color,
font, button styles, etc.

based on the design language guidelines.

A map will demonstrate the association of the agency website with the web
applications to

provide a seamless user experience.

An appropriate level of usability testing should be conducted to ensure the
new design exceeds

the current website in efficiency and accessibility.
