This opportunity with a world leading firm looking for *ETL Specialist* within a small highly skilled team that is focused on large scale DW initiative. The ETL Specialist will assess current state and provide technical direction for future. You will contribute to the strategy and integration efforts for huge data warehouse / business intelligence initiative. *Looking for 8-10+ years of ETL/Informatica exp.* Must be a specialist with data integration (log/phys data modeling, standards, security, design, dev, cap planning, etc.) This is a hands-on role that interacts heavily with the business and other technical leaders. The ETL Specialist analyze the data integration env, conduct as is / to be, and work along with other Data and BI specialists to align the arch to the business case. You should be able to create high level ETL design specs; tool comparisons and recommendations. You will document the data integration architecture and drive delivery of ETL and Data Integration solutions. Must have extensive past experience delivering ETL and Data Integration solutions for high volume data environments (7+TB), and hands on ability to optimize log and phys data models to improve ETL performance. Expert developing complex ETL mappings and scripts using Informatica PowerCenter using Designer (Source Analyzer, Warehouse designer, Mapping designer, Mapplet Designer, Transformation Developer), Repository Manager, Workflow Manager & Workflow Monitor. Hands on Performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings and sessions. Use of Informatica Data Explorer and Informatica Data Quality tools. Extensive experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data from different heterogeneous source systems like Flat files, Teradata ,XML, Oracle, SQL Server. Data modeling knowledge using Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema Modeling, Dimensions Tables. Hands on experience in writing, testing and implementation of the PL/SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions, packages.
