We have an opening *SQL Script/Database Testers *for *Richfield MN *Job details are mentioned below, Kindly let me know if you are comfortable with the requirement. *Job Title : SQL Script/Database Testers* *Location : Richfield MN* *Duration : 6+ months* *Start Date : ASAP* *Interview : Phone and In Person * We are looking for a technical, highly-motivated, extremely organized hands-on Senior Quality Analyst with test automation knowledge. The resource is a key team player in the successful development and integration of a multi-channel application for a top national retailer. This resource should be creative, resourceful, experienced in the Agile and Waterfall SDLC, and have been part of programs/projects with multiple system integrations both internally in the company, as well as externally with multiple vendors. Position Overview: Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for: • Work closely with QA Lead, Business Analysts, Architects, Project Managers, and Developers to develop test plan • Responsible for delivering iterative test results/progress • Develop and maintains test scenarios, both manual and automated • Creates and maintains test plans, cases/scripts, traceability matrix and various testing checklists • Assist with test data requests for multiple teams to support development and QA testing, by either developing mock test data using PL SQL scripts or working with the upstream teams • Works collaboratively with integrated enterprise systems to complete end-to-end testing • Responsible for platform environment validation throughout the deployment process • Proactively identify ways to improve quality of the platform. Continuously improve QA practices to improve team’s productivity and product quality, including Agile practices and test automation • Support UAT activities with Business Analysts and Business Owners • Supports enterprise teams for security and performance testing Skills Overview: What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate? 1. At least 4-5 years hands on experience using SQL’s which includes (Joins, Aggregates, Analytical Functions) is a must 2. Testing experience of web services is a must 3. 5+ years in Quality Assurance and working within software industry in an Agile development environment, building web based systems. Waterfall environment is helpful as well 4. Experience with Automation Tools such as QTP/UFT or Lisa: Highly recommended 5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 6. Experience working with off-shore teams 7. Knowledge and working experience of PL/SQL will be great to have 8. Knowledge of ETL processing will be added advantage. 9. Knowledge and Working experience in Core Java will be great to have 10. Experience with cross-functional and remote teams for delivering quality products on a tight schedule. 11. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical co-workers and customers 12. Knowledge of testing with web services and troubleshooting issues 13. The ideal candidate will have experience working on 5-8 concurrent projects 14. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing their own workload 15. Must be comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, evolving environment 16.
