*Job Title: IT Senior Application Developer Power Builder* *Duration: Long Term Contract* *Location: Houston, TX* *Position Description: * The successful candidate will be a member of the IT Applications Technical Support Group, specifically developing and supporting applications built using PowerBuilder 12.5 and Sybase 12. As part of a team, they will be responsible for estimates, technical design and documentation, coding and unit testing. *POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: * The candidate must have the following qualifications and experience. • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Science or Mathematics. • At least 5 years’ experience in Systems Development and/or Applications Support which included Analysis, Design, Programming, Support and Maintenance activities. • At least 3 year’s recent experience of coding in current versions of PowerBuilder. • Excellent PLSQL skills and knowledge of Sybase. • A broad knowledge of the Project Controls function would be an advantage. • Excellent analytical skills to break down and deliver solutions for complex problems. • Good organizational skills to be able to consistently deliver as planned. • Good written, oral, comprehension and presentational skills to enable effective communication at all levels. • The ability to collaborate and communicate well within a matrix team environment as well as work independently with little supervision whilst keeping management informed. • A good knowledge of data processing including a general technical understanding of hardware, software, databases and database technologies. • Produce and maintain documentation for supported systems including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed design documents. • Will be expected to take responsibility for the quality of their work through thorough testing • Must have full good understanding of working in both waterfall and agile software development life cycle • Hands-on experience and understanding of multi-tiered software systems. -- Best Regards *Nilesh Kumar* *Email*: nilesh.ku...@mamsys.com *Gtalk*: nilesh3...@gmail.com MAMSYS Consulting Services Ltd. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
