*PROFILE SUMMARY*

·         8+ year of experience in leading Windows and VMware Level 3 teams
for large engagements (1000+ servers). Candidate should have excellent
communication skills, technical operations management skills.

*MANDATORY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES*



o    In-depth Knowledge of VMware ESXi Hypervisor
Platform


o    Excellent knowledge on installation, configuration, and maintainenance
of VMware ESXi servers 5.0/5.1/5.5

o    Excellent knowledge  on installation, configuration, and
maintainenance of Microsoft virtual machine templates

o    Excellent knowledge on P2V and V2V processes on VMware ESXi Hypervisor
Platform

o    Strong knowledge of IBM System x server platform

o    Expert level knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving issues for
enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application
publishing and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues for
internal and external end users

o    Expert knowledge of “directory naming” technologies (Active Directory
(AD), LDAP etc)

o    Strong  knowledge of Windows technologies including management and
troubleshooting Active Directory Group Policy, Distributed File System,
Remote Desktop Services (2008, 2012), File Server (Strong understanding of
NTFS permissions), and IIS.

o    Basic understaning of enterprise security software (Symantec, McAfee
etc )

o    Expert knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012 server administration

o    Experience in setting up and deploying systems with Windows Server
2008R2 and 2012.

o    Strong experience of core Windows Server functions; DNS, WINS, DHCP,
Radius, File, Print, AD, DC, etc

o    In-depth knowlege on Windows OS patching leveraging WSUS &
SCCM


o    Hands-on experience with incident, change, problem management and
expert in troubleshooting issues related to the above mentioned technology
stack,  root cause
analysis(RCA)


o    Demonstrated experience in Left shift operations is a
must


o    Experience in working with global teams (onshore and offshore) is a
must

o    Willing to work in flexible hours in case of unplanned activities or
incidents

o    Excellent communication skills
