The Technical Operations Team is responsible for the overall availability,
stability and security of the CLIENT Wealth Platform and it’s suite of
products and services. The Middleware Administrator is a highly motivated
resource focused on working hand-in-hand with other technical support,
development, architecture, implementation and service teams. This role
works in a 24/7/365 highly available, on-call environment.


*Position Requirements:*

·         Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working
in supporting a distributed technology platform with multiple heterogeneous
systems and application software.

·         Candidate must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and be
able to provide assistance with diagnostics and troubleshooting using
critical problem solving techniques.

·         Candidate must have hands on experience is working in a mixed
infrastructure environment of Linux/Solaris/Windows.

·         The candidate should demonstrate outstanding oral and written
communication skills. Must have strong team focus and client service work
ethic.

*Responsibilities*

·         Develop and foster collaborative relationships with other
technical support, development and service teams.

·         Accountable and responsible for managing system issues,
performance tuning, and backup/ recovery for all environments.

·         Act as first and second level of support for all infrastructure
issues for the THE CLIENT Wealth Platform in the J2EE and messaging
middleware namespace.

·         Provide detailed root cause analysis and suggest workarounds
and/or solutions for recurring issues.

·         Work with Information Security and Compliance to ensure that
infrastructure components are meeting standards for Corporate and
Regulatory guidelines.

·         Work with the Business Continuity teams to successfully restore
the THE CLIENT Wealth Platform as part of the Disaster Recovery exercise.

·         Work independently and collaboratively with other support
organizations to troubleshoot system and application issues.

·         Additional Technical Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Computer Science
disciplines a plus

·         Must have subject matter expertise with J2EE application
containers like Oracle Weblogic and/or IBM WebSphere

·         Strong background with the design, setup, maintenance and support
of enterprise messaging frameworks and middleware technologies like IBM MQ,
JMS, OAQ and Oracle Service Bus

·         Experience configuring internet facing websites and securing them
with centralized authentication systems and SSO solutions like CA SiteMinder

·         Past experience with Oracle Tuxedo application server a plus.

·         A fast learner with ability to dive into new products and
technologies, develop subject matter expertise and drive projects to
completion.

·         A team player with good written and verbal communication skills
that can mentor other members in the production support group.
