*Length: 6+ months* *Rate: $45/hr* *Interview: Phone screen then Onsite* *FACE 2 FACE* MUST HAVE: JIRA and HP Quality Center (QC) or ALM SQL skills including queries, joins, and performing Backend Testing Preparing Test Data Write Test Plans and Test Cases Automation Testing experience Title: QA Analyst A Quality Assurance Analyst is needed for testing in-house applications. Business domain is asset management in the intermodal transportation industry. Related business experience is a plus but not required. The QA Analyst must be well rounded in a variety of technologies, and have a thorough understanding of SDLC methodologies. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge and strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation • Effectively interpret Design/Requirements documentation and work with business and IT staff to create test plans/scripts • Conduct meetings with Business and Development for requirements/implementation review • Accurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verify bug fixes • Conduct meetings with Business and IT Teams for requirements/implementation review • Accurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verify bug fixes • Coordinate UAT and other testing related tasks with Business and other IT departments • Identify process and application issues and provide suggestions to improve Requirements: • Minimum 3+ years of related QA experience required • Comprehensive understanding of QA Methodologies and all phases of SDLC • Experience developing SQL queries and using different Joins on multiple tables to perform Backend Testing • Ability to prepare test data to optimize testing • Ability to learn and adapt to in-house system applications • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team oriented work environment • Ability to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team • Must be able to write test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts • Must be able to write SQL Queries • Must be able to prepare test data • Experience with JIRA and HP QC/ALM a plus • Experience in the intermodal or transportation industries is preferred • Experience with automated testing technologies is preferred • Excellent communication and people skills *Thanks and Regards* *Shweta Ojha* Sr. Technical Recruiter | Sage Group Consulting *Direct: *732-784-6492 *Email: *so...@sagetl.com *Gtalk: *sojha1290*|Ymail: *ojha1290 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
