*Job Title: Business Analyst* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job description:-* The ability to function as a liaison between IT and business resources. Strong analytical skills including expertise in handling large amounts of data within Microsoft Excel or using database tools. Process flow and business analysis capabilities. Effective documentation capabilities. Oracle DB, Teradata DB (PL / SQL queries) required. Exposure to Tableau/OBIEE/Spotfire At least 5 years of business, technical analysis, and development experience. Ability to work independently and in a team environment effectively with minimum supervision, Should be Proficient with on time delivery. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Airling Domain, Customer Service arears preferred *Responsibilities / Tasks to be performed* Work with business partners and analysts to gather and document business requirements for a BI Project. Maintain requirement documentation accurately. Creating mockup reports/dashboards using business requirements. Develop an understanding of source and target systems. work with SQL/PL SQL using Oracle and Teredata DB. Assist in the translation of business requirements into actionable technical requirements documentation that can be shared with a developer and / or architect. Arrange and coordinate meetings with business and technical resources to insure requirements and deliverables are clear and achievable on both sides. Active involvement in project deliverable tracking, execution, updates and status reporting. Identifies risks and issues and escalates on a timely basis.
