You will be responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise databases and the development of a best-in-class user-focused solution leveraging the latest in web development technology. You will be expected to complete your projects in the required time with minimal supervision from a senior member of the Technical team. Strong knowledge on SQL and Oracle concepts is must *Responsibilities: * · Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug SQL databases, T-SQL functions and store procedures · Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug middleware for complex enterprise level web applications · Convert functional specifications and design artifacts into database designs and other technical artifacts, with an emphasis on performance and extensibility. Design and implement unit, component, and system tests in coordination with QA and other developers to ensure quality *Skills Required::* · 10+ years of demonstrated experience with data architecture and relational design especially with respect to application development. Familiarity with best business practices and software development · Completed multiple database implementation projects through all phases of development. Understand complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs. Demonstrate proficiency with physical and logical database design · Demonstrate proficiency with data replication techniques. Write effective stored procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures · Demonstrate knowledge of information security, including integration with major operating system environments, Active Directory, Microsoft IIS. Experience working on an Agile team. Experience developing modern web apps · Experience with standard tools of the trade such as Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, and TFS. Experience with SQL Server T-SQL, JSON, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS3, ADFS, JavaScript Experience developing C# web services and API’s. Experience developing complex enterprise/productivity applications · Provide technical leadership in the area of Microsoft SQL Server development using T-SQL. Design and develop scalable OLTP databases. In-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture - engine, query processing, query optimization, locking etc. Provide hands-on design, development, and code reviews. Design and develop Schema, Indexes, SQL Queries, and Stored Procedures. Assess and improve performance of stored procedures and SQL queries. Assist the development team in writing queries and report development for OLTP systems · Work with the development team and Technical Operations in reviewing and preparing database production deployment. Install, upgrade, consolidate and maintain SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012 environments for Production, Development and QA. Hands-on HA and DR experience using Failover clustering, Replication and Log shipping · Build HA and DR systems using Always On Failover Clustered instances, Always On Availability Groups, Multi-site clusters and Replication across different data centres. Expert level automating tasks using scripts · Establish efficient ETL processes using SSIS. Establish and maintain a highly-efficient disk based backup and restore process. Highly knowledgeable in DAS and SAN storage systems · Expert knowledge in security and encryption. Setup and maintain database standards and best practices.
