of the project and deployment of files into the WebSphere *

• Expertise in administration, configuration, workload management (WLM) and
performance tuning of WebSphere Application Server 7.x /8.x
• Knowledge of security configuration for server-side application
resources.• Thorough knowledge of J2EE architecture specially
• Experience in working at Various data centers.
• Knowledge of installation and configuration of IBM HTTP servers, RedHat
EWS servers.
• understanding of how WebSphere Portal and WebSphere application server
fits into an overall SOA architecture.
• Experience in implementing Load Balancing to support high availability
and scalable web farms involving large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experienced in working with IHS, EWS, and Apache Webservers.
• Strong technical knowledge includes WebSphere Application Server
Administration, Workload management, RedHat JBoss EAP and performance
tuning.
• Experienced in applying Patches and Fixes for WebSphere Application
Server and JBoss.
• Strong experience in Application Server clustering.
• Broad experience in developing web based applications using HTML, Java,
JavaScript, Servlets, JDBC, JSP, Struts, EJB, JMS and PERL.
• Developed UNIX Shell Scripts, JACL and JYTHON for the automatic
configuration of the project and deployment of files into the WebSphere
Application Server.
• Experience in operational 24x7 support, best practice in troubleshooting,
monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance.
• Creating the Problem Management Record (PMR) with the IBM, Updating
fixing the unresolved bugs or issues.
• Actively involved in Change management, Software Configuration
Management, Problem management, Incident Management and Service Engineering
process
• Actively involved in project release engagement and releasing the code
management and actively participating on the SOW (Statement of work)
meeting to setup the process.
• Implement the Operational strategies that support Change Management
processes, addressing end-to-end process controls.
• Excellent background in software development and testing middleware
systems.
• Hands on experience with Relational databases like DB2, ORACLE, SYBASE
and SQL Server.
• Experience on implementing and administering, Performance monitoring and
tuning using tools like Wily Introscope, Xymon, Snappimon, Tivoli
Performance Viewer, log analyzer, thread analyzer, IBM Heap Analyzer, HP
and Splunk.
• Ability to rapidly learn new concepts together with excellent
interpersonal skills
