*Long Term Contract* *Interview Process - Phone, Face to Face * *There will be a test for this role* *Keys to the position:* 1. *10+ years of Java Development experience*.Must have architecture experience as well. 2. Strong understanding and proven experience implementing web services in Java is required. Must be able to plan out the architecture and frameworks and then implement them. REST is a must. 3. Experience working with Spring is a must - Restful Web Services. Spring Boot is a + 4. Modest SQL skills are required - must be able to write queries, select statements and ideally stored procedures. We are using Oracle so PL/SQL would be a big + 5. This person needs to be resourceful and demonstrate ownership and initiative as they will be the only developer on the team. We may be looking to grow the team over time as this person will be the Lead resource. 6. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Financial Services experience is a + 8. Mobile development experience is a nice to have *Minimum Requirements:* *Keys to the Position* 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer supporting large application development life cycles Strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts Demonstrated experience of Design and Development using Java based technologies. Needs to have experience working with Spring Must have an understanding of multi-threading and memory management - if they are strong in this area they should do very well. Strong understanding and proven experience implementing REST web services in Java would be a big + Understanding and experience with building performance (Speed and Accuracy) critical applications is required. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
