The position is responsible for the architecture, strategy for both hardware and software for all server and storage technology. This position is a hands-on technical position. This role will work closely with business partners ranging from Vice Presidents to individual department employees to understand and design IT data center solutions. This requires understanding of business requirements and how data center architecture interacts with IT solutions. The Data Center Administrator will provide hands on guidance on architecture, problem resolution and project management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to direct and distributed teams. This position requires an individual who is innovative and can work well with distributed teams within a multi-national company for the purpose of executing technology solutions in alignment with the business vision. The Data Center Administrator will work with peers and external partners to improve existing designs and provide new solutions to support the overall strategy, as well as envision and prepare for the future. The Data Center Administrator reports to the Manager of Infrastructure.
