The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and best practices. *Duties and responsibilities:* · Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. · Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) · Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. · Create, update, test, debug & provide support to existing applications · Unit test and troubleshoot QA and production issues with business rules · Provide support to project teams in defining and reviewing product and software requirements · Plan and execute software engineering development projects, utilizing advanced software and hardware engineering principles. · System design including external and internal interface definition and analysis · Work closely with the infrastructure group and drive application support requirements and issue resolution · May lead and direct the work of others · Focus on performance tuning, software patches, upgrades, troubleshooting, configuration, and end-user support · Participate in code reviews, reviewing software changes · Document and maintain all system documentation · On-call availability for production releases and issues. · Review and fix legacy code completely. · Responsible for communicating with engineers regarding programming needs and performance. · Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems. · Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance. · Providing advice, training and technical support for various projects. · Analyze and research technical and business requirements to determine feasibility of design and implementation within time constraints · Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product. · Provide feedback to analysis/training staff about performance considerations / usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation. *Desired Skills and Experience:* · Required: C# (4.5+), ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, MVC (4+), JavaScript, REST,Webservices, Design Patterns,MS-SQL TSQL,StorProc, Triggers], SSIS, SSRS, Entity Framework, HTML 5, CSS3 · Pluses:VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, Visual Basic 6, C++, UI/UX, Test Automation, Git *Qualifications:* · 7+ years of experience required · Bachelor’s Degree desired · Web application development is required · Agile experience/knowledge desirable · Strong Time Management skills · Excellent communication skills · Effective liaising and team-working skills · Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
